Yinlun TDI is searching for a Director of Finance to manage all day-to-day accounting and finance operations. This role is a key member of the Yinlun TDI leadership team. Responsible for ensuring the integrity of financial data, the Director of Finance also oversees organization liabilities, planning and risk management. Yinlun TDI offers great opportunity for future growth, as such this position has the potential to promote into a Vice President and/or Chief Financial Officer role. Because of Yinlun TDI’s continued growth, this position will be relocating to the Mid-West in 2020-2021, any candidate applying for the role must be willing to relocate at that time.

In addition to the responsibilities listed above, the following essential duties and responsibilities are part of the positions scope:

  • Provides strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization; (i.e. Facility, capex, etc.)
  • Prepares management financial sales, gross margin and related variance reporting (this includes i.e. Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow Statements)
  • Oversees controller and month-end close process in accordance with established company processes and procedures
  • Coordinates with external CPA firm to provide financial statements and other documentation in support of year-end tax compliance reporting and development of the GAAP tax provision
  • Continually reviews financial and accounting processes to identify improvement opportunities and/or deviations from established guidelines; recommends, initiates and implements process enhancements and/or corrective actions
  • Prepares all planning, forecasting and long-term business plans
  • Acts as an interdepartmental liaison between Yinlun TDI, LLC. United States offices and departments as well as offices and departments of its parent company headquartered in China.
  • Oversees and develops costing and quoting rates in cooperation with operations
  • Maintains and develops the bank and treasury relationships
  • Responsible for review and execution of relevant legal contracts
  • Develops company departmental policies and procedures
  • Respect and maintain financial confidentiality guidelines.
  • Hires, trains, develops and motivates accounting staff
  • International travel is expected 2-3 times per year
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience & Licensure:

  • BA/BS in Finance or Accounting or equivalent experience required; MBA and/or CPA preferred but not required
  • Five or more years relevant work experience required; 3+ years of manufacturing/automotive experience
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment with multiple product releases/launches preferred
  • Experience with International M&A preferred
  • Knowledge of Epicor, SAP or ERP System implementations a plus
  • Experience working with US Corporate Tax
