POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Job Title: Test Lab Technician
Reports To: Validation Director
Location: Rancho Cucamonga, CA
FLSA Classification: Non-exempt
Effective Date: 04/11/2022
Shift hours: 7:00am – 3:30pm
Summary
The test technician will setup, conduct and report mechanical and thermal testing on heat exchangers. The role entails supporting the Test Lab which conducts product verification and durability testing such as Performance, Pressure Cycle and Burst testing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Include the following, other duties may be assigned.
- Work with engineering and management to perform mechanical and thermal testing.
- Follow customer specification to evaluate heat exchanger products.
- Perform basic mechanical maintenance on test equipment to ensure proper operation.
- Work with engineering and management to build and modify setups and equipment.
- Effectively communicate testing outcomes in and oral and report format.
- Complete and check reports upon completion of testing.
- Vehicle performance inside climate chamber
